At SOCES, we offer several opportunities for parents to get involved, including the Parent Center, SOCES PTSA, and SOCES Booster Club.
Together, we are TEAM SOCES — working hand-in-hand to support our school community and student needs.
PARENT CENTER
Your first step to getting involved at SOCES. From Parent Education Information sessions to Volunteer Opportunities, this is the place to go.
To volunteer on campus or field trips, you MUST be an LAUSD-approved volunteer.
BOOSTER CLUB
Focus: Funding After-school activities, Enrichment funding for Programs.
We raise funds and build community through after-school activities to support programs underfunded or not funded by LAUSD. We are an independent nonprofit dedicated to Sherman Oaks CES.
SOCES PTSA
Focus: Collaborates with the student body on campus during the school day and school events.
The PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is part of a national parent network whose primary focus is school-wide advocacy, family engagement, and community building.
